4th Annual Darin Goodman Night Invite

Schedule: Boys Varsity - 8:20 pm
Girls Varsity - 9:00 pm
(FYI - we will continue to switch the order of the boys/ girls races each year)

Awards: Individual Awards - Medals for the first 40 finishers in each varsity race
Most Valuable Runner – Plaque presented to the top overall runner in each varsity race

Team Awards - 1st through 3rd place awards in each race.
Team awards and most valuable runner will be presented on the football field after the final race.

Course: Accurate 5000 meter course at Eastwood High School
Flat, a few turns, grass and woods, with a 300 meter finish on the track

Excellent spectator course with overhead and string lighting throughout the course

Please limit all spikes to a maximum of ¼ inch due to the track finish

Girls Course Record: Rylie Towns (Huron) - 18:40.87 (2024)

General Information:
● Course will be open all day for inspection with maps. Feel free to preview the course at an earlier date. Please
contact Coach Howard for more information (contact info below).
● Concessions and restrooms will be available at the football stadium
● A limited supply of Night Invite T-shirts will be on sale.
● Team camps will be by the football stadium along the back side of the fence OR inside the stadium
● Buses should enter on the west side of Eastwood High School off Luckey Road. Athletes will be dropped off,
packets passed out, and then buses will be instructed to park between the high school and middle school.
● There is NO charge for parking, and admission is free (that’s right - a free event for your families!)
Entry Information:
● All runners will run the varsity race (no limit on entries at this time).
● Return chips to the t-shirt tent in the stadium. There will be a $5 fee for each timing chip that is not returned.
● Results will be posted on Athletic.net at the conclusion of the competition.
