Dresden Melon Festival 5k & 10K

Join us Saturday, Aug. 1st at 9:30am for the NEW Dresden Melon Festival 10K & 5k Race and kids 100m Dash located at the Village of Dresden River Park Boat Ramp.

Village of Dresden River Park boat ramp - located just below Tri-Valley High school

EARLY PACKET PICK-UP & RACE DAY REGISTRATION:
Race Day registration and Packet pick-up will be located at the Village of Dresden River Park boat ramp located just below Tri-Valley high school - Starting at 8:00am

RACE COURSE:
We have eliminated the muddy, messy trails for the more user friendly requested paved trails. 
The new Melon Festival 10k route and the redesigned 5k routes will both be an out and back route following the scenic tree lined Dresden bike trail as it follows the beautiful Muskingum River and the welcoming village streets of Dresden. The race will start and finish at the Village of Dresden River Park boat ramp located just below Tri-Valley High school. We have maintained the traditional 100yd grass finish under the tree canopy and along the bank of the Muskingum River!

AWARDS:
10k & 5k Race - Awards will be issued to the Top Three Overall male and Female finishers and in each of the following age categories:
12-under, 13-18, 19-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+ Walkers are welcome!

RACE RESULTS:
Automatic text and email results will be sent immediately following a participants finish for those that opt-in. Instant results will also be available on site at the Results Kiosks and at the race website.

RACE PACKETS & FINISHLINE PERKS:
Your race packet will include custom softstyle t-shirt with official race logo, custom race bib, and other sponsor items to be determined. Water and refreshments will be available at the finish. All participants registered by July 22nd are guaranteed a t-shirt. Extra t-shirts will be on first come first served basis on race day.

From July 27th to race day -$30 (Late Entry)
Kids 100m Dash - Free (T-Shirt NOT included)

REFUND POLICY 
“If we are unable to safely hold an in-person race for Any reason including pandemic or Mother nature, we will automatically convert all registrations to a non-refundable virtual event as opposed to rescheduling. Updates will be posted on the race website.
