The 1st Annual Dogs Day Out 5K run/1.25 mile walk is coming to Allaire Village on September 12th! Lace up your shoes and clip on the leash for a run or walk with your pup through a historic ironworks village and surrounding trails.
All 5K run participants receive a t-shirt, chip-timed results, closed course, and a post-race festival celebrating all things DOGS!
All 1.25 mile walk participants receive a t-shirt and the post-race festival.
All run/walk events can be done with or without a dog. One dog per person only.
After the race, we'll celebrate all things DOGS with an outdoor festival featuring all sorts of activities and contests for you and your best bud: dog-friendly vendor village of local pet boutiques, dog treat bar, agility course, photo ops, dog splash zone and drink stations, caricatures, costume contests, Yappy Hour beer garden, food trucks, live music, & more. This day is all about the dogs!
All dog lovers are welcome whether they participate in the run/walk or not. Festival Only tickets are available if you'd just like to spectate and enjoy the grounds and festival for the day.
The entire village will be open to human and dog participants alike and the run/walk is completely optional. Proceeds from the event will benefit Allaire Village Inc., a 501c3 non-profit dedicated to preserving one of the most dog-friendly venues in the state. A portion of proceeds and supplies will also be donated to local adoption agencies.
Rules and regulations apply. See terms and conditions in required waiver agreements.
