Introduction/Supporting
This race is an introduction to the wonderful beer of Death Ridge Brewery, with all race proceeds going to support Verdun Adventure Bound. Verdun is an educational 501 (C)(3) non-profit organization with a mission to support youth and adult personal growth incorporating experiential learning and stewardship of the land on its 67 acre retreat facility. Check them out at the link below.
Race Course
The surface varies from close cut grass to a short section of rough trail and several kilometers of the well groomed trail in Verdun. Verdun has a beautiful cross country course with just enough hills to make it interesting. You will be in and out of the woods, along side two ponds, and over a stream or two (bridged, of course).
