Location: Hess Recreation Area, 843 Meadow Ln, Danville, PA 17821
Description: Join us for a community 5K run/walk event! The course will be on the Hess Field loop trail in Danville, PA. The trail is a scenic wooded path crossing a beautiful creek that features a covered bridge and overlaps with the J. Manley Robbins Trail—the oldest documented rail trail in the United States. The terrain is mostly flat with limited road areas. Miles will be marked.
Overall Awards: 1st place overall male and female.
Age Groups: Age group winners male and female: 12 and under; 13-15; 16-18; 19-29; 30-39; 40-49; 50-59; 60-69; 70 and over.
Entry Fee: $25 pre-registration. $30 race day registration. This event benefits the Danville Area School District Cross Country Teams.
**Race day registration and packet pick-up is at the Hess Recreation Area picnic pavilion from 7:30-8:15am. Parking and restroom facilities available at the Hess Recreation Area.
