The Coyote Chase 5k is a 5k race that supports the Monarch HS XC program. The race is on the Monarch HS campus and is a 2k loop that consists of grass, dirt and concrete. The grass portion of the loop is about 65%, dirt around 5% and the rest is concrete sidewalk. The setting is beautiful with the Flatirons of Boulder in the background and farmland on two sides of the course, complete with cows!
