Coastal Edge ECSC 5K
DATE: Sunday, August 24, 2025
START TIME: 7:00 am
LOCATION: 2nd Street on the Virginia Beach Oceanfront Boardwalk
Enjoy a beautiful run on the Virginia Beach Oceanfront Boardwalk during The 63rd Annual Coastal Edge East Coast Surfing Championships. All finishers will receive a custom medal and commemorative tee. The race will start at 2nd Street on the boardwalk. On-site registration will be under the Coastal Edge tent near the start line on the boardwalk. Enjoy the fast, flat, and out-and-back course along the Virginia Beach Boardwalk with a view of the morning sun over the scenic oceanfront. Course marshals will be positioned at key points and a water station will be set up near the turnaround. Pro surf competitions will be underway shortly after the race, not to mention all the other CE ECSC events. All events are free and open to attend.
