From the Organizer
Join us for the 2026 Charles County Trauma Walk, an inspiring event dedicated to raising awareness and eradicating trauma within our community. This year, we invite individuals, families, and local organizations to come together for a day filled with hope, education, and support.
Date: Saturday, August 29, 2026
Time: 8:00 am- 12:00 pm
Location: Weis, 4535 Fairway Village Place, Waldorf, MD 20602
The Trauma Walk will feature a scenic route where participants can walk or run at their own pace, symbolizing our collective journey towards healing. Along the way, attendees will encounter informational booths, resource tables, and engaging activities designed to educate the community about the impacts of trauma and the importance of mental health.
Our goal is to foster an open dialogue about trauma, its effects, and the paths to recovery. By raising awareness, we aim to break the stigma surrounding mental health issues and empower individuals to seek the help they need.
Together, we can make a difference! Whether you're walking in memory of a loved one, supporting someone in recovery, or simply want to learn more, your participation matters. Join us as we walk side by side in solidarity, courage, and compassion.
Let's take strides toward a healthier, trauma-free future for all in Charles County. We look forward to seeing you there!
