From the Organizer
The first annual Canal Path Classic at Fort Herkimer Church, hosted by the Mohawk Youth and Family Center. A 5k run/walk and 10k run held entirely on the Erie Canalway Trail. Enjoy a flat, fast, scenic and traffic free course. Participants will receive a commemorative t-shirt as part of their entry fee. Additionally awards will be given out to the top 3 male and female finishers in both the 5k and 10k. Top 3 male and female youth will be awarded in the 5k. Awards may be expanded to include age group awards as the event develops. A portion of the proceeds will be donated back to the Mohawk Youth and Family Center.
