BLUEBERRY STOMP
1-Mile Fun Run • 5K Race • 15K Race

Join us on Labor Day for the 52nd annual Blueberry Stomp, a nonprofit race supporting our local ASK Ministries, run in conjunction with the Marshall County Blueberry Festival. The Blueberry Festival regularly draws a crowd of 200,000+ over the weekend so there are PLENTY of activities leading up to the Monday race.

START TIMES & START LINE

All athletes line up on Michigan Street near the entrance of the KFC parking lot.
The 1-mile Fun Run starts at 8:00am and all participants must finish before the 8:30am start of the Stomp.

A cannon fire announces the start of the 5K & 15K Races at 8:30am. Strollers are allowed, but please ensure that all children and items such as cups, snacks, etc. are secured at all times. For the safety of all participants, pets are not allowed.

1 -MILE FUN RUN: 8:00am start
This non-competitive run/walk starts at the south edge of Centennial Park on Michigan Street. All runners and walkers have 30 minutes to complete 1 mile (out and back course). At 8:30am the 5K & 15K must start. If you are not finished, you will be asked to step off the course. You may finish once the 5K & 15K runners have passed.

5K Race: 8:30am start
Starting at the south edge of Centennial Park on Michigan Street, this is a beautiful out-and-back tree-lined course through residential Plymouth. Nearly the entire course follows the Blueberry Parade route, giving you the opportunity to participate in front of approximately 50,000 spectators! See course map below.

15K Race: 8:30am start
This course also starts at the south edge of Centennial Park on Michigan Street, running through downtown Plymouth and out into the beautiful countryside. This is an out-and-back course that follows the 5K course for the first & last mile, viewed by approximately 50,000 spectators! The 5K & 15K courses split on Oakhill Ave. Soon after, the 15K course becomes a challenge to even the best of runners with its rolling hills. There are water stops available at several locations throughout the course. See course map below.

The finish line closes at 10:50am, allowing tear down before the course reopens to traffic at 11:00 am. The finish line CLOSES at 10:50am. This allows 2hrs and 20min for the 15K participants (15:01/mile). All athletes who have not finished, and who wish to continue, must move to the sidewalks & follow normal traffic laws.  All volunteers and aid stations are not available after 11:00 am. For your safety, we ask that you choose the distance you can finish in the allotted time.

Race numbers must be visible (preferably still attached) to receive prizes & food. No refunds will be given including inclement weather.
