RAIN OR SHINE!!!
Join us for a morning of community, wellness, and hope at the Bedford County Recovery Series 5K! Whether you are a seasoned runner looking for a new challenge or a family wanting to enjoy a morning walk together, this event is designed for all fitness levels.
The Route
Our scenic course highlights some of the most beautiful landscapes Bedford has to offer:
Start: The beautiful, welcoming grounds of the Bedford Elks.
The Path: Take your choice of an easy, flat trail or push yourself on the more challenging Purple Trail.
Turnaround/Finish Area: The route takes you over to the historic and picturesque Omni Bedford Springs Hotel area.
Event Highlights
Family & Kid-Friendly: Bring the strollers for the lower walking area, the grandparents, and the kids! This is a supportive, positive environment for everyone.
Choose Your Pace: Walk it, jog it, or run it—this event is about community, not just competition. This is an UNTIMED race so if you want, bring your watches.
Race for a Cause: 100% of all proceeds go directly to vital programs within Bedford County dedicated to helping individuals and families recovering from drug and alcohol addiction.
Your steps make a difference. By participating, you are directly funding recovery resources, breaking the stigma, and supporting a healthier, stronger Bedford County.
Each Runner/Walker will receive a SWAG BAG and a TRUCKER HAT for their paid entry. Day of the race registration is available by check or cash.
Please bring your checkbook if you would like to bid on the Silent Auction!
See you at the starting line!
PS - Please consider making a "Donation" because every CENT goes to help programs of Recovery in Bedford County!! Also, we would love to have your business or event promoted in our SWAG bag or basket at the Silent Auction table. Please contact Dr. Terri Sawyer at 1-801-458-6996 to learn more.
