A 5K at the Guilford Fair in Guilford, VT. This will be run on a hilly, loop course, on a widely varied mix of paved roads, dirt roads, and trails. With 226' of elevation gain, the first half of the course is mostly uphill. The second half is gradually downhill (with the exception of a very slight rise about 75 yards from the finish). There should be a fun, fast finish.
Prizes will be given to the top overall female and male finishers, and to the first place female and male in each age group (12 and under, 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+). The last finisher will be awarded a bag of local, composted horse manure, great for your garden! Can you Beat the Manure!
In person registration will be available up until 7:45 AM on Race Day. The race will start at 8:00 AM
