From the Organizer
Honor Your Best Friend at Bark in the Park! 🐾
Do you have a beloved pet you'd like to celebrate? Whether they're happily by your side or forever in your heart, you can honor them by joining our annual Honor Walk through Whitaker Woods or by purchasing a personalized trail marker in their memory. (Trail marker orders must be received by September 17, 2026.)
The Honor Walk is a family- and pet-friendly tradition that raises critical funds to provide food, shelter, and medical care for the animals waiting for their forever homes.
Registration is now open! Sign up to walk, create a fundraising page, and earn exciting prizes while making a difference for homeless animals.
The Honor Walk begins at 10:00 AM on Saturday, September 19 in Schouler Park. Please meet at the information booth before the walk. Afterward, enjoy a full day of Bark in the Park festivities, including fun contests like Best Bark and Best Tail, an agility course for your pup, vendors, food trucks, live music, Dock Dogs competitions, and more!
New This Year!
Join us on Friday, September 18 for an exciting kickoff to Bark in the Park! Our information booth will be open from 1:00–6:00 PM for early Honor Walk registration and to answer questions about the Conway Area Humane Society.
That afternoon, Seacoast Dock Dogs will host exciting dock diving competitions from 1:00–4:00 PM, followed by a special "Try Dock Dogs" session from 4:00–6:00 PM. Anyone can participate, and 50% of all "Try It" registration fees will be donated to the Conway Area Humane Society.
Then come back on Saturday for a full day of family fun featuring Dock Dogs competitions, live entertainment, local vendors, delicious food trucks, pet-friendly activities, games for all ages, and—availability and temperament permitting—the chance to meet some of our adorable adoptable dogs.
We can't wait to celebrate with you, your family, and your furry friends while raising vital funds to help animals in need. We hope to see you at Bark in the Park!
