American Cancer Society Relay For Life: Color 5K Run/Walk and 1-Mile Fun Run/Walk

Saturday, September 6, 2025,at Babcock Ranch, starting and finishing in Founder's Square.

 

Race Start Time: 8 a.m. at Babcock Ranch, Founders Square, 42850 Crescent Loop, Punta Gorda, FL 33982
Strollers and leashed dogs are permitted and must start in the back of the start line.

 

5K Run/Walk is a professionally chip-timed timed by Beach Bum Timing. There is no time cap.
The 1-mile Fun Run/Walk is not timed. You will not receive a bib for this event. 
 
EARLY Packet Pickup date/time: September 4, 2025 from 9 am- 5 pm. Babcock Ranch Lifestyle Office, 42911 Lake Babcock Drive, Punta Gorda, FL 33982. Shirt Cutoff Date: August 22, 2025. If you register after 8/22/24, you are not guaranteed a shirt. Any extra shirts will be available after the race.

 

Race Day Registration & Packet Pickup: 6:45 am to 7:45 am. 5K cost is $40.00. 1-Mile cost is $30.00. Walk-in registrations are acceptable on the day of the race. Only credit cards or Apple Pay. Cash is not accepted. 

 

Age-Based Pricing: Applies to both events. $20.00 for 18 years old and under. 

 

Awards: There will be an in-person awards ceremony. Awards/shirts will NOT be shipped to participants. If you don't stay for your award, you are responsible for coordinating with Babcock Ranch on when you will pick it up.
Overall Awards to the Male & Female finishers in the following categories - 1st Place Overall. Masters (40+), Grand Masters (50+), Senior Grand Masters (60+), Veteran Grand Masters (70+). These are the runners who cross the finish line first in the respective category. Age Group Awards: Top 3 M/F finishers in each age category, 9 & under, 10-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70+

Post-race refreshments will be served.
Water Stations: Located at the halfway mark on the course and at the end of the finish line.
Rest Rooms: Located next to the Start Line.
Parking: Free parking is available in parking areas near Founder's Square.
