Race Day Packet Pickup: Sat, Sep 5th, from 6:45AM to 7:45AM, Founders Square, 42850 Crescent Loop, Punta Gorda, FL 33982
Join us at Babcock Ranch for a fun-filled morning supporting the American Cancer Society Color Run 5K or 1-Mile Walk. Both events start and finish in Founder's Square.
Race Start Time: 8 a.m. at Babcock Ranch, Founders Square.
Strollers and leashed dogs are permitted and must start in the back of the start line.
5K Run/Walk is a professionally chip-timed timed by Beach Bum Timing.
The 1-mile Fun Run/Walk is not timed and starts immediately after the 5K start.
Shirt Deadline: Register by August 22, 2026, to guarantee an event shirt. Participants registering after August 22 are not guaranteed a shirt. Any extra shirts will be distributed after the race on a first-come, first-served basis.
Race Day Registration: 6:45 am to 7:45 am. 5K cost is $40.00. 1-Mile cost is $30.00. Walk-in registrations are acceptable on the day of the race. Only credit cards or Apple Pay. Cash is not accepted.
Age-Based Pricing: Applies to both events. $20.00 for 18 years old and under.
Awards: There will be an in-person awards ceremony. Participants receive a finisher medal.
Overall Awards will be presented to the 1st Place Male and Female finishers in the following categories:
Overall
Masters (40+)
Grand Masters (50+)
Senior Grand Masters (60+)
Veteran Grand Masters (70+)
These awards are based on the first male and female runners to cross the finish line in each category.
Age Group Awards will be presented to the Top 3 Male and Female finishers in the following age groups: 9 & Under,10–14, 15–19, 20–24, 25–29, 30–34, 35–39, 40–44, 45–49, 50–54, 55–59, 60–64, 65–69, 70-74, 75+
Overall, Masters, Grand Masters, Senior Grand Masters, and Veteran Grand Masters winners are not eligible for Age Group awards. Finisher medals and awards will not be shipped to participants.

Post-race refreshments will be served.
Water Stations: Located at the halfway mark on the course and at the end of the finish line.
