From the Organizer

Age-Graded 4-Miler is held every July 4th to celebrate Independence Day and the club's founding. It differs from other races. Runners start at a time determined by their gender and age. The goal is for everyone to finish close to one another.

The winner is the first person to physically cross the finish line, regardless of chip time.

The race uses specialized handicap tables based on age-group records.

The results will show the runners' chip times.

This event is part of the DCRRC's Bunion Derby Series; for more information/rules, visit the race series rules page.

Registration closes at 8:00 p.m. the night before the race. Park Service rules prohibit registration on race day.
