This race is held at beautiful Lake Carey! Help us kick off Lake Carey Day with a 5k run/walk and a 10k run.  You will enjoy the beautiful lake views as you run - all while benefiting Lake Carey! 
Race day registration is also available but t-shirts not guaranteed. Medals awarded in seven age groups and the top male and female finishers in each race. A special Frank Valvano Award given to the first 200 lb + participant in the 10 k or 5k if no other qualifiers.  
Both courses are wheel measured and accurate. 
**PLEASE NOTE -THE DEFAULT IS NO SHIRT. IF YOU WANT A SHIRT PLEASE CHOOSE SIZE WHEN YOU REGISTER.  I WILL HAVE A FEW EXTRA!

**Dick Daniels was involved in the sport of running, this race, and Lake Carey Day for years. Unfortunately, he passed away last year. We have changed the name of the 5k to honor him.
