It's our 9th Annual PTSD Awareness 5K! And we have something new and exciting - a challenge soon to be revealed to help you prepare and stay motivated until June 5, 2027. Check out CFCheroes.com for more details to be released soon.
This will be our second year with the running chair. Check out the First Responder PTS Foundation website for more information. Help us in our efforts to overcome posttraumatic stress by supporting and participating in this event. Show your support by honoring those that have lost the battle to PTSD, those who are currently battling and those who have survived the battle. Through PERSEVERANCE, TENACITY, SUPPORT and DETERMINATION we can overcome PTSD. Proceeds from this event will go to the First Responder PTS Foundation (501c3) to provide ancillary services to mental health treatment and education for first responders related to PTSD, stress and trauma.
We will be giving out awards to the top male and female finisher in the following age categories - We added a new age category!!!
0-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+
Race Location will be at Copper Hills Church at 27035 N Black Rock Blvd, Peoria, AZ 85383
Participants will receive
- a participant t-shirt
- a finisher limited edition challenge coin
- on course and post-race refreshments - water and coffee provided by Well Coffee Co.

Prize to the top male and female finisher.
Raffle for all participants (must be present to win).
Must register by May 4th to guarantee t-shirt availability and size.
