Join us for a TIMED 5K to support the Imagine North Port Cross Country & Track & Field Sharks.
8:00 AM @ Myakkahatchee Creek Environmental Park North Port Just OFF 75 exit182
*Must register by Sep 26th to guarantee a Poker Run shirt
*Prices go up after Sept 26th
*Participants must be 21+ to play poker.
EVERYONE IS WELCOME TO RUN:)
This is a Texas Holdem' Style 5K event.
Early Packet Pickup is October 2nd from 3:00pm-6:00pm at Il Primos. RaceDay Packet Pickup will begin at 7:00am on the morning of the race at the Myakkahatchee Creek Environmental Park.
Participants playing poker will gather two playing cards from the table mid-race to complete their hand. Upon returning, runners will place their cards on the Check-In table. The cards will be stapled together with the runner’s name written on them.
Participants do NOT need to know how to play poker to participate. They just need to pick up 2 cards during the run.
The Highest poker hand will receive a $100 gift card PLUS a Medal
The Worst poker hand will receive a $75 gift card. PLUS a Medal
In the event of a poker hand tie, the fastest runner wins the hand.
Straights over Flushes.
IN PERSON awards will also be presented to the 5k runners immediately following the last runner as follows:
Top Male/Female Finisher in the following categories: Overall, Masters, Grand Masters, Senior Grand Master, Veterans.
Age Group Awards to the Top Three Male/Female Finishers in the following groups:<12, 13-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80-84, 85+
Participants must be 21+ to play poker.
Highest poker hand & The Worst poker hand will receive a medal.
Water will be provided for runners at the table mid-run.
HOT DOG's when you finish.
Chip and snack bars will also be provided.

Start by running out of the park then turn around at the water stop/poker table receiving TWO CARDS then back to finish 3.1 miles Course Map.
DO NOT FORGET TO pick TWO cards from the table set out from the Volunteers at the water stop.
Runners returning will place their cards on the Check-In Table, CARDS WILL THEN BE STAPLED TOGETHER AND YOUR NAME WRITTEN ON THEM.
PARKING:
- Parking is available within the park by following the dirt towards the big pavilion and beyond. Please refrain from parking on the residential side of Reisterstown Road/Estates Drive.
DIRECTIONS:
- Take Exit 182 from I-75 and head East. Follow Sumter Blvd. to Tropicaire Blvd. Turn left on Tropicaire Blvd. and turn right on Reisterstown Road. The park is at the curve of Reisterstown Road on the right.
