From the Organizer
Join the Cedar City Running Club and HOKA on Tuesday, August 4th at 6pm for a 4 x 1 Mile Team Relay. The relay race is designed for you to challenge yourself to race your fastest mile while also working as a team to run the fastest team time. If you are interested in participating, please register for the event here on RunSignUp. Teams will be drawn at random the night of the event.
Each team will have 4 members. Each member will run their own leg of 1 mile. Totaling 4 miles for the team.
Top teams will be awarded prizes, but remember this is just for FUN! HOKA will also be on site with demo shoes and raffle prizes that all participants are eligible for.
The 1 mile will take place around the Don Fox Park. We will forego our normal Tuesday meet up on the town square and will met at the Don Fox Park on 8.4.26 only. Please arrive to the park no later than 6pm. The race will begin at 6:15pm.
A 1 mile group warm up will occur prior to the race.
There is an optional 3 mile group run route for those not participating in the relay race.
Last year chip - timing was a complete test given the relay style event. We are happy to be offering that again this year, but please know we are still learning as this is only the second time we have offered chip-timing for a relay-style race. We hope to be able to provide you with an official chip time at the end of the race, but strongly encourage you to use a watch or have a friend time you to for sure walk away with your time.
