Fall is the best time of year on Martha’s Vineyard! Join us for a race unlike any other: for the Annual Martha’s Vineyard Brunch Run/Walk on Saturday, October 17, 2026, at 8:00 am presented by the MV Classic Series.
Pick your distance! This race offers a One Miler (for ages 14 and under only)as well as a 5K and 10K USATF sanctioned courses which are flat and fast, and the 10K course runs along scenic Atlantic Drive right by the ocean. This unique and exciting event includes a post-race brunch and refreshing beverages presented by our sponsors. All participants will receive a t-shirt and custom commemorative brunch glass which are guaranteed for the first 200 registrants. Medals will be awarded to the first place finisher in each running race category.
Proceeds from this race will not only support the Edgartown Board of Trade, but now as a part of the MV Classic Series, this race will benefit local youth charities. The driving force behind the series is to give back to our community by hosting great races.
BIB PICK UP: Pick up your number, t-shirt, and brunch wristband on Friday, October 16, 2026 from 5:00-6:00 pm, and on Saturday morning pre-race at the Katama General Store, 170 Katama Road, Edgartown.
PARKING: There is no parking available at the Katama General Store. We encourage all participants to be dropped off or to park at the Edgartown School parking lot and do a warm-up walk or bike ride to the Katama General Store (about 1 mile). There will be limited shuttle service running from the Edgartown School to the start from 7:00 am - 8:00 am and then returning from 10:00 am- 10:30 am.
WATER STATIONS: There will be TWO water stations on the 10K course and ONE on the 5K course. If you prefer, please bring your own water bottle.
USATF SANCTIONED: Both races are USATF sanctioned courses and each is chip timed with a mass start format. Please wear your bib on the front and be sure it is not covered by clothing. Medals will be awarded for first place males and females in each race category at the conclusion of the event.
POST RUN/BRUNCH: This race is presented by the Edgartown Board of Trade as well as our sponsors listed on our race website. Beverage sponsors will provide refreshments along with brunch to go or enjoy on the porch. Participants must be 21 or older to consume alcoholic beverages.
RAFFLE: At bib pick up you will be asked to enter your race raffle tag from your bib for some amazing gifts from our generous sponsors and the Edgartown Board of Trade. Winners will be announced on race day.
BRUNCH: The brunch is limited to those participants with a wristband, however, Katama General Store will be open race day for spectators to purchase their own food and beverages. Brunch wristbands will not be available for purchase. You will receive your commemorative glass as you cross the finish line.
