Grab your furry, four-legged pal and join the Detroit Police Department and Detroit Medical Center’s Rehabilitation Institute of Michigan (RIM) for the Heart Diggity Dog 5K on October 3rd, 2026! Run, run/walk or walk through through Midtown and Downtown Detroit! Start from Brush Mall, next to RIM and the DMC Heart Hospital, 311 Mack Ave., Detroit, in between Beaubien and John R, head down Brush to Comerica Park, circle around the neighborhood and back up to Midtown. Participants receive a t-shirt and custom medal, and dogs get a Heart Diggity Dog 5K dog bandana. Have a fun, heart-healthy day with your furry friend downtown while supporting the Detroit Police Department!
Race registration/bib pick up starts at 8am; race starts at 9am.
Parking: free parking in South Deck structure 311 Mack Ave (corner of Mack and Beaubien/StAntoine) will be available between 7:30am and 12:30pm.
