Log Hill Hustle 5K & 10K – Run for the Views, Hustle for a Cause!
Join us on August 23, 2026 for the 11th Annual Log Hill Hustle 5K & 10K, a scenic fun run/walk hosted by Fortuna Tierra Club in support of scholarships and local education. Set against the stunning backdrop of the San Juan Mountains and Cimarron ranges, both courses begin and end at the beautiful Divide Ranch and Club, winding along gently rolling, fully paved roads through one of Colorado’s most picturesque communities.
Whether you're racing for a personal best or enjoying a relaxed walk with friends, you'll be treated to crisp mountain air, spectacular vistas, and the warm encouragement of enthusiastic volunteers and course monitors. A water station keeps participants hydrated, and clearly marked routes ensure a smooth experience for all.
But the real finish line is the future. Proceeds from the Log Hill Hustle directly fund scholarships for Ridgway High School graduates and alumni, and one scholarship for a Ouray High School graduate: helping students pursue higher education and career training. In 2026, thanks to our generous community of runners, donors, and sponsors, $17,000 in scholarships were awarded. Additional funds of $2,000 support teacher grants for the purchase of educational materials and equipment for local pre-K to 8 students.
Stick around after the race for a complimentary continental breakfast, awards ceremony, and fantastic door prizes—because every mile you run makes a meaningful difference. Enjoy a free continental breakfast sponsored by Fortuna Tierra Club. Awards will be given to Log Hill Hustle winners. All runners are eligible for door prizes.
We encourage running, jogging, and walking. Baby strollers are allowed, but please no dogs or bikes.
