From the Organizer
The basic concept is a man carrying a woman (teams do NOT have to be man and woman, any duos can enter) over a marked obstacle course. The teams do not have to be married or romantically involved. Two teams will go head to head on the course and whichever team is the fastest will move on to the next heat until we're down to the final 2 teams competing for a cash prize!
A man may choose to carry his female partner in one of three ways: While many use the "Estonian carry" (upside down on the carrier's back), other methods like piggyback or fireman's carry are allowed.
The course is just under 300 yards long and contains dry obstacles (climbing over or under objects) as well as a wet obstacle (most likely a muddy one).
This is meant to be a fun competition for people 18+. We look forward to having you join us for our first Wife Carrying Competition!!!
Each partner must register and sign the waiver. There will be another waiver to sign in person before the event.

Mud, obstacles, and miles. Raw fitness meets mental grit in a way no other sport matches.
