Get ready to kick off your morning with a refreshing summer race experience at the Valley Watermelon Run 5K! Join us for a fun-filled event featuring great vibes, community spirit, and delicious post-race refreshments with watermelons. Whether you're chasing a new personal best or enjoying a run with friends and family, this is the perfect way to celebrate the end of summer in the Rio Grande Valley.

📍 Location: Westside Park, McAllen, TX
🏃♂️ 5K Run: 7:30 a.m.
🚶♀️1-mile Fun Run/Walk: 7:40 a.m.
🌅 Arrival Time: Please arrive by 7:00 a.m. for parking, stretching, and warm-up activities.
🍉 Refreshments and hydration bar will be available after you cross the finish line!
💲 Registration Fee:
🏃♂️ 5K Run: $30
🚶♀️ 1 Mile Run/Walk: $15
👕 T-Shirt Size Deadline: July 31, 2026
Participants registered after this date are not guaranteed THEIR EXACT SIZE FOR race shirt. Remaining shirts will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis during packet pickup while supplies last.
