Sprint Mode is a running race on August 10, 2026 in Atlanta, GA, with an entry fee of $35.
From the Organizer
SPRINT MODE is a high-energy fitness and community experience designed to bring tech culture out from behind the screen and into motion.
Inspired by the concept of a “Sprint” used throughout the tech industry, SPRINT MODE takes the mindset of working toward a goal within a focused period of time and turns it into a live physical experience.
For one morning, tech professionals, founders, creatives, engineers, project managers, ecosystem partners, and community members will step away from their desks, activate their bodies, and work together in a completely different environment.
The experience is built around three phases:
RUN. GAMES. RECOVERY.
The morning begins with a community run designed to get participants moving, connecting, and setting the energy for the day. This is not just about pace or being the fastest runner. The run creates an opportunity for attendees to move together, meet new people, and start the morning with a shared goal.
After completing the run, participants will transition into SPRINT MODE Games.
The games combine classic field day and cookout-style competition with terminology and concepts inspired by tech culture. Participants will compete individually and in teams through simple, fast-paced challenges that test communication, speed, coordination, strategy, and the ability to execute under pressure.
Games include Tic-Tac-Toe, Musical Chairs, the Spoon Egg Race, Flip Cup, Firewall Dodgeball, Scrum Master Says, the Server Stack Challenge, and Backlog Burnout.
Some games will feel familiar.
Others will put a tech-inspired spin on traditional competition.
All of them are designed to create energy, encourage team interaction, and give attendees an opportunity to connect outside of traditional networking environments.
Following the games, participants will enter the recovery portion of the experience. This time will allow attendees to cool down, reset, hydrate, stretch, and reconnect before the closing program.
The morning will conclude with community announcements, awards, and recognition of the individuals and teams that showed the best combination of energy, teamwork, and execution.
SPRINT MODE is where tech culture meets movement.
No laptops.
No meetings.
No status updates.
Just movement, competition, community, and recovery.
