2026 RACE INFO
PARKING & LOCATION
This year’s DBR will take place at Walsingham Park, Seminole, FL. 12615 102nd Ave; Seminole, FL 33778. Main parking will be at Shelter 6 and extra parking at Shelters 3 & 4 for overflow.
Please note this year’s start time is 8am and will conclude at 2pm. Park gates will open at 7am.
RACE MORNING
You will NOT need to check in before the race, but we recommend you have a look at the clipboards so you know where you are to mark your loop as you come through.
If you are unfamiliar with the race setup, you will self-record all of your loops on the clipboards at the main tent; start line. Benny will be at the race start, if have any questions. Only laps completed during the 6 hours of the DBR will count toward the race awards and UltraSignup results.
There are bathrooms along the course. Be sure to bring plenty of hydration & nutrition with you, along with a canopy tent for shade. If you do not have a canopy, that’s OK, you can stage under the pavilion next to the start. The run will be approximately 3 miles, out and back, with a slight wrap around at the end to complete the “loop”. PLEASE be mindful of other pedestrians, runners, cyclists, etc, this is NOT a closed course and is a very popular area on the weekends. To reiterate, this is a Fat Ass Race, which means you are self-supported for all nutritional, hydration needs, etc. There is plenty of space for tent canopies, chairs, coolers, etc and it is HIGHLY recommended you bring them. Please bring everything you need for a successful run. Temperatures will be hot with high humidity, so please bring ice, be aware of hydrating and not succumbing to heat issues.
Self recording: Each loop you will mark a clipboard at the Start/Finish with your name on it. If you want your miles in UltraSignup, mark your loops! If you win the whole race, or are the absolute last person to cross a loop finish at the 6 hour mark, you may get a prize.
Additionally, the race is free to run but we will be collecting cash donations to cover race day costs and all extra monies after the fact will be donated to a charity, to be announced on race day.
