Practice –
Goal is to have kids come to 2 of the 3 practices below, whatever best fits their schedule.
Practice time is 6:15-7:30
Wednesdays, Silver Springs Park

Meets are Sunday at various locations, first race at 2 p.m.
All-Star Division for individuals with special needs and their siblings.

Races: Sunday afternoons in Akron, Tallmadge, Springfield, Jackson, Streetsboro, Saturday Sept 9th at Walsh Jesuit High School
Distances: 400 meters(fun run 5-6 year olds) 1 mile (8 years old and under),
1.5 mile (lower division - 9-10 Years old) 1.5 mile (upper division - 11 and up)
Why: A fun introduction to the sport of running. For all abilities.

Age Divisions Odds & Ends
(ages as of September 9/1/2024) 1. Team scoring for Division II and III
Division I – 13/14: Run 2 miles 2. Gender specific team and individual
Division II – 11/12: Run 1.5 miles awards (only exception is Division V)
Division III – 9/10: Run 1.5 miles 3. A runner can run up a division
Division IV – 8 an under 1 mile 4. Individual awards for top 20 each race
Division V – 6 and under (or 400 meters)
Division – ALL STAR: Run 1 mile
