We’re so glad you’re here, and thank you for your interest in being part of something truly meaningful.
Join us for our 17th Annual Race for Recovery, which is presented by The Piperno Family, on Saturday, September 27th at Cooper River Park—an inspiring day dedicated to hope, healing, and second chances.
Hosted by Maryville, New Jersey’s longest-operating nonprofit substance use treatment agency, this event raises critical funds for the Peter P. Black IV Scholarship Fund. The fund helps individuals who are ready for treatment but lack the financial resources to get the help they need. Founded by Kathleen “Kate” Holt in loving memory of her son Peter, who passed away in 2004 from a substance use disorder. For over 75 years, Maryville has been a trusted leader in holistic, evidence-based treatment for substance use and mental health disorders—and your support helps us continue that mission.
Thank you for standing with us. Together, we’re making recovery possible.
Our event has something for the whole family: DJ, moisture wicking race shirts, water ice, photo booth, refreshments, yoga, and awards. The 5K is a timed race and awards will be given to the two top males and females in different age categories.
