From the Organizer

Transitions don’t need to feel rushed, chaotic, or confusing.

On Saturday, May 24, we’re walking through exactly how to set up and move through T1 and T2 so you can race with more confidence and less stress.

This will be a hands-on session.

We’ll cover:

  • How to set up your transition area (what you need + what you don’t)

  • Clean, efficient movement through T1 and T2

  • Mount/dismount options (including when a flying mount actually makes sense)

  • How to approach races with multiple transition areas or point-to-point formats

  • Small details that make a big difference on race day

This is for first-timers and experienced athletes alike. If you’ve ever felt flustered in transition, this will help.

Bring your gear. We’ll set it up and run through it together.

About This Sport

From Endurance Grid's Founder

Endurance Grid is here to help you understand the sport, decide if it's the right fit, and learn how to prepare. For course distances, logistics, and race-day specifics, always defer to the race organizer's event page.

Three sports, one race — swim, bike, run in sequence, with transitions that are a discipline of their own.

Open water, open roads, and competition with yourself. Cross the finish line knowing what it took to get there.

Triathlon

Swim, bike, run — back to back. The sprint distance makes it far more accessible than most people think.
