We are excited to announce that the 9th Annual Redondo Beach Swim the Avenues is returning to the coastal waters of Redondo Beach, California. The event date is September 13th, 2026. There will be a 1.2-mile ocean swim as well as a half mile ocean swim. There will be a wet-suit and non-wet suit category. In honor and remembrance of former Redondo Beach Mayor Bill Brand a portion of proceeds will benefit South Bay Park Land Conservancy.
Swim the Avenues is delighted to become a part of the Southern Pacific Masters Swimming Open Water Series. If you are registered to USMS/SPMS, you are eligible to earn points for your race. Be sure to check USMS on your entry. At the end of the season, a high point winner will be awarded. See the SPMS website for details!
