The 3rd MPSF Open Water Swimming Championships will be contested Saturday, October 18, 2025 at Marine Stadium in Long Beach, Calif. Be a part of the third intercollegiate conference championship in open water swimming.
The MPSF Championships in OWS could potentially lead to an NCAA Championship in the sport. Open water swimming has been in the Olympics since 2008. Alumni from institutions eligible for MPSF membership in OWS have participated in every one of these Olympic competitions and have medaled in both the men’s and women’s events. The Marine Stadium will host Rowing and Canoeing during the 2028 Olympic Games. Long Beach will also host the Open Water Swimming and eight other sports events for the 2028 Olympic Games.
The Open 5 Kilometer and 1 Kilometer Open Water Swim participants are encouraged to affiliate with the MPSF member institution that they swam collegiately for, currently attend or graduated from. Don't forget to wear your team colors.
