From the Organizer
The Washburn Rural Back to School 5k is hosted by the Washburn Rural High School Boys and Girls Cross Country Teams. We are inviting everyone; students, teachers, staff, parents, community members to kickoff the 2026 school year by running or walking a 5k with us. Whether you have been training all summer and you're ready to show everyone your fitness or you are just happy to be able to walk a 5k you are welcome to come join us.
The race will start outside the gate to the south entrance of the track. Runners/walkers will complete two loops on campus and finish on the Track.
This is our 6th Annual 5k. The last five years have been a huge success and we are excited to be hosting again! All proceeds will benefit the Washburn Rural High School Cross Country teams. Thank you for your support!
Packet Pickup will take place at Fleet Feet Friday August 7th from 6PM - 7PM. OR at Washburn Rural High School Saturday August 8th from 6AM - 7AM.
