From the Organizer
This event highlights everything there is to love about the Ridgway area. The 10-mile race is run on a lollipop course with magnificent views of the San Juan Mountains. The 5-mile fun-run / walk is an out-and-back on the first 2.5 miles of the 10-mile course and offers something for everyone. The event is coordinated with the Ridgway RiverFest and that means food and beverages and plenty of activities along the Uncompahgre River later the same day. Race proceeds will benefit the Uncompahgre Watershed Partnership.
Start line: Both races start and finish on Palomino Trail in Ridgway across from the Ace Hardware. Turn east at the only traffic signal in Ridgway then right on Palomino Trail.
Parking: Parking is available along either side of Palomino Trail and on County Road 12 if necessary. Please do not park in the parking lots of the local businesses.
Aid Stations for 5-mile race: at mile 2 and mile 4.
Aid Stations for 10-mile race: at mile 2, mile 5 and mile 8.
