REGISTRATION OPEN TO PUBLIC FOR YOUTH MILE & FUN RUN AT TRACK STARS YOUTH TRACK FESTIVAL JULY 12th

Non-track stars athletes interested in getting a timed mile or seeing what we are all about are welcome to register for our two open community events. Sign-Up for a chance to Keep Movin!

Session 2 Track Stars athletes looking to join this event should use this sign-up to enter meet. 

NO SESSION 1 ATHLETES SHOULD USE THIS RUNSIGNUP!

YOUTH OPEN MILE 

• 2 Heats ran COED - Elementary than Middle School
• Top 3 in 4 Award Divisions receive ribbons - Elementary Girls, Elementary Boys, Middle School Girls, Middle School Boys
• FAT Timing, Waterfall start (no lanes)
• Lap Counters
• Full Mile (not 1600m)

FUN RUNS

• PreK / 4 & Under Toddler 30m Dash . 8 kids at a time / no lanes. No Timing. Plastic medals/ribbons for all.
• 1st Grade / 6 & Under Fun Run 400m. 1 Lap around track / 1 heat. Running Clock. Plastic medals/ribbons for all.

General Rules 

• Athletes should know what events they are running and the parents should listen to be aware of when they are occurring. Schedules are rolling and events may start earlier than posted.
• Cheering is great! But no parents on or inside the track.
• No flash photography, bells, or horns.
• False starts result in a double gun/whistle and recall of runners to restart the race.
• FAT Timing, Starting Gun/Whistle.
• Award Divisions by Gender and Birth Year. NB Gender will compete in the Boys Division.

Awards

• Ribbons for 1st, 2nd, & 3rd will be given out at the awards table approx 15 minutes after the event goes off. Athletes can check the awards table to view their results post race.
• PR Ribbons for all first time races/events or Personal Records
• Participation Medals / Team Pins are given out at Chapter Practices not Meets
• T-Shirts & Other Items will be for sale

Community Entry 

• Non-team members track stars session 1 mini league athletes - $10 Fun Run Sign-Up
  Non- team members track stars session 1 major league athletes - $10 Youth Open Mile 

Fun Run Rules

• No placements / Times
• No Lanes
• Everyone gets ribbon/plastic medal
