From the Organizer
The PRC is hosting The Philipsburg Heritage Days Race at the beautiful Cold Stream Dam and Recreation Area of Philipsburg. This year will offer two distances the 5K and 10K. The 5K will consist of two loops around the Cold Stream Dam and surrounding trail system near the stream. The course is relatively flat and consists of gravel terrain and trail surfaces. It is a great beginner race for everyone.
The 10K course will also run through the recreation area but will take a turn up a hill and then through the Historical Philipsburg Cemetery before re-entering the woods and then loop around the trails and back to the finish. Proceeds for this race will help the perpetual care of the cemetery.

From 5K to marathon, running races are the most accessible entry point into endurance sport. There's a distance for every fitness level and a community at every start line.
Running off-road — dirt, singletrack, and mountain paths — from 5Ks to ultras. The terrain, not the pace, is the whole point.
