From the Organizer
Come one, come all to the first annual "Four Legged 5k" foot race, organized and hosted by the Bailey Chamber of Commerce and benefitting one of our local non-profit organizations, Peaceworks! Unlike a lot of other races in Colorado, your well-behaved, leashed, four legged friends are totally welcome to join in on the fun! This friendly 5k course is great for all ages and skill levels, as it stays on the well known "Dump Road" here in Bailey, and turns around at the south entrance to the Glen Isle Resort
The race will take place on Friday, June 26th (the day BEFORE "All Bailey Community Day"), and will begin promptly at 1PM, with the start line in front of Platte Canyon Community Church, and will head out towards Glen Isle on CR-64. The 3.1 mile course is an out and back, and there will be water-bottles for participants at the 1/2 way aid station.
