From the Organizer
Join True Grit Running Company, Brooks Running, Raisin' Cane's and Da'Bayou Snowballs & Sweets for an evening of fun, friendly competition, and community at the track! Whether you're a seasoned runner, a recreational jogger, or simply looking for a new challenge, these events offer something for everyone.
Kids' 100-Meter Dash
Our youngest athletes can experience the excitement of racing on the track with a fast and fun 100-meter sprint. This event is designed for children and gives them a chance to race down the straightaway and cross the finish line like the pros. Raisin' Cane's has made it possible for finisher's medals to be available for all the kids to show off! This event is for children ages 3-12. Children will be put into appropriate age groups for their competition.
4x400-Meter Relay
Grab three friends and form a team for one of track and field's most exciting events. Each runner completes one lap (400 meters) around the track before passing a baton to the next teammate. Teams compete together, making this a great event for running clubs, families, workplaces, and groups of friends. This event is for ages 10+.
One Mile Open Race
The One Mile race is the track equivalent of approximately one mile. Runners will complete four laps around the track as they test their speed, pacing, and endurance. Whether you're chasing a personal best, trying track racing for the first time, or simply looking for a fun challenge, this event is open to runners of all abilities. This event is for ages 10+
Come cheer on your fellow competitors, enjoy the atmosphere of the track, and experience the thrill of racing in a supportive and welcoming environment. This is a great opportunity for athletes, families, and spectators to enjoy an evening at the track together.
PRIZES! We will be raffling off prizes from Brooks Running, Raisin' Cane's, Da'Bayou Snowballs & Sweets, and True Grit Running Company! To earn a raffle ticket, you can run in an event and/or demo a pair of Brooks Hyperion Max 4! Doing both will earn you TWO raffle tickets!
The overall male winner and overall female winner of the One Mile Open Race will each receive a $50 gift card to True Grit Running Company.
