Haywood Community College Student Life wants you to take a hike for National Take a Hike Day on November 17! To qualify, you must "hike" a minimum of 1 mile on November 17, 2026 either on or off campus. Qualifying participants will be entered into a drawing and have a chance to win a prize*.
To qualify for the prize drawing: after completing your hike, simply email HCC-studentlife@haywood.edu with proof of your hike along with your full name and HCC email address. Proof can be a screenshot showing your completed trail or mileage completed from an app like Strava, a smart watch, or distance tracker on your smartphone.
*All HCC students and employees are encouraged to participate, but only students are eligible to win a prize.
