Get ready to celebrate Independence Day with one of Kentucky’s most unique and patriotic road races! Join us on Saturday, July 4, 2026, for the inaugural Spirit of 76 7.6 Miler in beautiful Albany — a race designed to honor community, tradition, and the spirit of America.
This one-of-a-kind 7.6-mile race begins at the scenic 76 Falls Country Club at 8:00 AM CST and takes runners on a memorable journey through the rolling beauty of Clinton County before finishing in the heart of downtown Albany during the annual Spirit of 76 Celebration festivities.
Whether you are chasing a personal best, running with friends and family, or simply looking for a fun way to kick off your Fourth of July celebration, this event offers the perfect mix of challenge, scenery, patriotism, and hometown hospitality.

The Spirit of 76 7.6 Miler is more than just a race — it is a celebration of community pride, American spirit, and the traditions that make Independence Day special. Come spend your Fourth of July morning running through one of Kentucky’s most welcoming communities and be part of a brand-new holiday tradition.
Prize money will be available for our first, second, and third overall in the male and female divisions. $300 for first, $200 for second, and $100 for third! Age groups awards will be awarded to the top three in the following male AND female divisions: 8 and under, 9-12, 13-15, 16-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60 and up!
