From the Organizer
The 1st Annual Smash & Dash 5K & 1K is coming to Downtown Whitney on Saturday, June 27, 2026! Hosted in partnership with Whitney Fire & Rescue, this event brings together fitness, community, and fun, all in support of our local fire department.
The morning will kick off with both a 5K run and a 1K fun run/walk, making this event perfect for participants of all ages and fitness levels. Whether you’re pushing for a new PR, walking with friends, or bringing the kids out for their first race, there’s something for everyone.
After the race, stick around for the Smash & Dash Vendor Fair, featuring local vendors, community activities, and a one-of-a-kind experience where you can literally “smash” stress away.
This is more than just a race, it’s a full community event. Come out, get active, and support the men and women who serve Whitney every day.
