From the Organizer
Join us to practice skills that will make you a stronger and more efficient rider! Whether you're a seasoned cyclist or a beginner, this clinic will help you increase your efficiency and strength while riding. The small group environment will allow for time for individual questions and feedback on form and technique.
This clinic is appropriate for all experience levels, whether you're newer to riding on the road or an experienced cyclist looking to gain efficiency while riding. You should have a basic level of ability to ride on the road but the majority of the clinic will be in a quiet, low traffic area with the opportunity for cyclists to adjust the number/intensity of the drills and hills according to their experience/comfort level.
You must wear a helmet, and bright clothing/front and rear lights are highly recommended. Please make sure your bike is in working order and ready to go when you arrive to the clinic.
The clinic will be primarily focused on cycling efficiency drills and climbing skills, which are two areas where cyclists often miss opportunities to achieve efficiency and performance.
In this clinic we will cover:
Drills for smooth and efficient riding
Shifting & anticipating elevation changes on a variety of hills
Gear Selection for optimum climbing and performance
Posture/form/technique for climbing
Ideal cadence range
Descending safely, quickly and efficiently
Cancellation, refund and Weather policy:
Clinic will go on in light rain. In the event of heavy fog, heavy rain or lightening/thunder or other inclement weather that threatens safety while riding, we will make every attempt to reschedule the clinic. If clinic must be rescheduled due to weather or to any other unforeseen circumstances, an option to attend the reschedule date or a partial refund may be provided at the discretion of the event organizer. If clinic must be completely cancelled by organizers due to low registration or other unforeseen circumstances, a refund less the Run signup processing fees will be provided. No refunds will be provided if participants do not show up at the clinic, or if your plans change and you are unable to make it.

From Endurance Grid
Endurance Grid is here to help you understand the sport, decide if it’s the right fit, and learn how to prepare. For course distances, logistics, and race-day specifics, always defer to the race organizer’s event page.
Cycling events range from casual gran fondos to competitive road races. What they share is the sustained effort of putting miles behind you under your own power.
It's a sport that rewards pacing judgment as much as raw fitness. If you're new to cycling events, a local bike shop fitting is worth the investment.
Gran fondo, century rides, and road races. Built around sustained effort and pacing judgment.
