Come join us at the Red, White, and Bluecat 5k to kick off the fourth of July on the right foot here in Coleman, Texas. Whether you are a seasoned runner, casual jogger, or this is your very first time lacing up your running shoes, theres a spot for you at the starting line. The race will begin and go through the newly installed District 1876 Park. Participants will also enjoy scenic sections of downtown Coleman and quiet tree-lined streets before returning to the finish line.
During the course you will be offered an option of taking the splash zone to cool down or taking the designated dry route.For those that want to participate but not the full distance of a 5k, a 1 mile course will be offered as well.The event will provide an aid station with simple snacks, water, and electrolytes.
Awards will be presented to:
-Overall 1st, 2nd, and 3rd 5k champions
-Overall 1st, 2nd, and 3rd one mile champions
-Most patriotic costume
The running placements will not have seperate age/gender divisions.
