A FLAT and fast 5K on the road to celebrate the 250th birthday of America (semiquincentennial!) Roads will be open to traffic and runners will run on the RIGHT side of the road. The race will start at the Old Schoolhouse at the Bethany Community School and head out on the road on a fairly flat course leading you to bagels and beer (for those over 21) at the finish. Beer generously donated by NEBCo Brewery. Bagels donated by Olmo bagels! This race is part of the 250th celebration of the birth of the USA by the Town of Bethany and will be followed by music, food for sale and games and activities for kids at the town hall starting at 11.
