From the Organizer
It's simple ... predict your one-mile pace and then run that mile (4 laps) on the track WITHOUT your tech (phone, watch, etc.). How close to your predicted time will you be? We will time you - results will be posted in order of the difference between your prediction and actual (across all waves).
This will be a no-frills event, but we will have water and snacks. Consider this a donation - everything is going to AKTIV Against Cancer, an amazing organization that is working to ensure physical activity becomes part of cancer treatment. Race will take place rain or shine. No refunds.
WHERE: South Windsor High School Track - 161 Nevers Road, South Windsor, CT 06074
WHEN: 12pm, 12:30pm or 1pm - choose your time (additional waves can be added if enough interest)
This is conveniently timed after East Granby and Ellington races earlier in day (Ellington High School is about 20 minutes from South Windsor High School). So for those looking to Bunko ... this is your chance!
