From the Organizer
Our 7th annual virtual event supports orphaned and vulnerable children living on the island of La Gonave, Haiti. 100% of every dollar raised will go towards feeding programs and is completely tax deductible. This little island, known as "the forgotten Haiti", has reached IPC Phase 4 Emergency levels of food insecurity. That's why the 7th annual Move Against Hunger has a goal of $50,000 to provide almost 5,000 meals per month, to some very hungry children.
This year our race is committed to ensuring every child in our community receives a meal every day, not just when they are in school. For the cost of 1 entry you will provide a child one meal every day for an entire month. This race can be completed your own way as long as it's between July 18 and July 25. You can complete your race anyway you choose: running, walking, cycling, paddle boarding, kayaking, swimming, or any other way you want to MOVE AGAINST HUNGER.
