The Mid-Summer 5K Challenge is a 5K run and walk road race held at Bloomington High School North, and all proceeds benefit the boys and girls Bloomington High School North Cross Country Teams.  The course begins next to the bleachers of the Bloomington North track and field facility, utilizes the Prow Road, Kinser Pike, and Acuff Road loop, including the main road on the Bloomington North campus.  Both miles and kilometers are marked, and the final 300 meters are run on the Ralph Sieboldt Track.

Registration begins at 7:00 am

Race begins at 8:00 am

Age group awards are divided into Male and Female categories and are as follows:

Run: Top 3 Overall, 10 & Under, 11-13, 14-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 & Over

Walk: Top five overall
