July Progressive Run Challenge
Join us for a 48.6 mile progressive run over the course of July!
Distances can be training runs or actual races but have to be completed during the week they are required. Each week you will send me a picture of your watch or your strava that shows the date, distance and time for the runs needed for each week.
July 1-7: Run a 5K - 3.1 miles
July 8 - 14: Run a 10K - 6.2 miles You have two options this week: 1) run one 10K or 2) run two 5K's
July 15 - 22: Run a Half Marathon -13.1 miles You have 3 options this week: 1) run one half marathon, 2) run two 10K's, or 3) run 3 days of 4.4 miles
July 23 - 31: Run a Marathon - 26.2 miles You have 4 options this week: 1) run one marathon, 2) run two half marathons, 3) run four days of 6.55 miles, or 4) run nine days of 3 miles
Not only will you get your monthly coin if you complete the progressive 48.6 mile challenge but some swag made to brag!
Questions just send me an email. You can run farther than the distance but it will only be counted as one of the runs, example: if you are to run a 5K you can run 5 miles but it will only be counted as the 5K. If you are to run 4.4 miles you can run 5 miles but will only be counted as 4.4 you cannot run less than the distance of 4.4.
Send Carolee an email @ caroleeluther@gmail.com at the end of each week letting me know how you are progressing with the pictures requested. At the end of the month let Carolee know you have completed the challenge. Gotta love a challenge!
