From the Organizer
The High Desert Runners again sponsors its annual series of all-comers cross-country meets for Antelope Valley area distance runners this summer. These are ALL-COMERS meets, and runners of all ages and abilities are welcome. This year's series will open with a fun CO-ED Relay Race, and followed by include four weekly meets on Thursday evenings. The coed relay is July 9th where you join up with two teammates (two males and one female) and the regular races start on July 16th and run through August 6 where we will hold our championship meet. The main meets will feature a 3-mile open race and a 1-kilometer fun run for children aged 12 and under. Parents of children running the kids’ fun run are encouraged to run with their children.
