Experience the Entire Gandy Dancer Trail in One Day
The Full Gandy Relay is a one-of-a-kind outdoor adventure that takes participants the length of Wisconsin's beautiful Gandy Dancer Trail from Danbury to St. Croix Falls.
Teams of 1 to 7 participants will work together to complete approximately 47 miles of biking, running, and hiking through forests, small towns, and some of the most scenic sections of the trail. Whether you're a seasoned athlete, an outdoor enthusiast, or simply looking for a unique challenge with friends and family, the Full Gandy Relay offers a fun and memorable way to experience the entire trail.
How It Works
The course is divided into seven segments:
12.2 Mile Bike
4.1 Mile Run
11.1 Mile Bike
5.7 Mile Run
2.1 Mile Hike
8.2 Mile Bike
3.6 Mile Run
Participants may complete the course solo or form a team of up to seven people and divide the segments however they choose. Team members may complete multiple segments if desired.
Team Logistics
Teams are responsible for coordinating their own transportation and transitions between relay points. This flexibility allows each team to create its own strategy and adventure throughout the day.
Event Atmosphere
The Full Gandy Relay is designed as a recreational event that celebrates the Gandy Dancer Trail and the communities it connects. While finish times will be recorded, the focus is on teamwork, outdoor recreation, personal challenge, and having fun.
