Run. Ride. River. Connect.
Three days of racing and unwinding in one of the most amazing parts of Texas.
Set in the Frio Valley near Leakey, Concan and Uvalde, Texas, the Frio Trio Endurance Festival combines
trail running, cross country running, gravel bike racing, mountain bike racing, stand up paddleboarding, floating the iconic Frio River, live music, good food, and the kind of campfire conversations that follow you home.
Complete the longest distances in the 5 main races to earn the Frio Fanatic Belt Buckle. Or do it with a team for the bragging rights.
And between all that racing, slow down, float the river, and relax at Basecamp.
While every racer will get some cool swag, September 8 is the deadline to get a shirt. If you register after the shirt deadline, you will get some cool Race Swag! This could be a variety of items like a trucker cap, neck gaiter, etc. It will be a cool Swag Item!

From Endurance Grid
This race spans more than one sport — here’s a guide to each, so you can understand what’s involved and decide if it’s the right fit. For course distances, logistics, and race-day specifics, always defer to the race organizer’s event page.
Running off-road — dirt, singletrack, and mountain paths — from 5Ks to ultras. The terrain, not the pace, is the whole point.
Gran fondo, century rides, and road races. Built around sustained effort and pacing judgment.
XC races, enduros, and fat bike events across U.S. trails. Technical, physical, and completely different from anything on pavement.
Kayak, canoe, SUP, and outrigger races on rivers, lakes, and ocean. Sprints to marathon distances, split by craft.
From 5K to marathon, running races are the most accessible entry point into endurance sport. There's a distance for every fitness level and a community at every start line.
